Build and deploy machine learning, advanced analytics, and Generative AI solutions in production, from data exploration and model development to monitoring and retraining. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven outcomes, and apply strong statistical modeling and causal inference where relevant. Use modern data engineering and MLOps practices to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure pipelines, while communicating insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a safety leader and adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
•Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, advanced analytics, and Generative AI solutions in production environments.
•Implement and maintain robust MLOps workflows including experiment tracking, model versioning, performance evaluation, production monitoring, drift detection, and retraining strategies.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
•Collect, process, and analyze large-scale datasets and ensure scalability, reliability, and security of data pipelines and deployed models.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 107,000 - 132,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, with practical experience applying data science techniques to real-world problems.
•5+ years of experience in data science with proven machine learning and statistical modeling expertise, with causal inference/modeling a plus.
•Hands-on experience productionizing ML solutions and implementing MLOps practices such as CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, and experiment tracking.
•Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn.
•Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), analytics platforms like Databricks, and containerization with Docker.
