Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Android app for a mature production consumer product, delivering new features and refinements while aligning with iOS.
  • •Continuously assess parity vs. platform conventions and defend engineering decisions.
  • •Ship Play Store releases, conduct crash triage, and improve performance across long-tail Android hardware.
  • •Work across new projects across mobile, web apps, and internal tools as opportunities arise.
  • •Collaborate with an AI-assisted development workflow using agentic coding tools (Claude Code).

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software engineering experience shipping user-facing client software in the Play Store.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.
  • •Strong Kotlin experience and enough Jetpack Compose knowledge to form opinions.
  • •Demonstrated 0→1 experience building the first version of a product or feature.
  • •Comfort working with ambiguity and without fully scoped programs upfront.
