Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and payment process, from invoice review and approvals to initiating payments and ensuring transactions complete accurately and on time.
  • •Review supporting documentation to ensure agreements, approvals, and segregation-of-duty controls are in place before payments.
  • •Prepare weekly payment requirements visibility across Wahed entities, monitoring AP ageing and payment due dates to meet supplier terms while maintaining controls.
  • •Support cash and liquidity management, including cash flow forecasting, upcoming funding needs, and FX rate/payment option reviews for international transfers.
  • •Coordinate and track intercompany transactions and funding movements, partnering with accountants and business teams to reconcile vendors and resolve discrepancies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • •Relevant experience in accounts payable, treasury, accounting, or finance operations, ideally in a multi-entity or international organization.
  • •Good understanding of the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice validation, approvals, payment processing, and vendor reconciliation.
  • •Exposure to treasury activities such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, international payments, FX, and intercompany transactions.
  • •Understanding of financial controls, payment authorization processes, and segregation of duties.
