Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop a team of six engineers with coaching, career development, and high-performing team culture.
•Own the team’s delivery by setting priorities, ensuring healthy execution, and delivering measurable outcomes.
•Partner with product and stakeholders to shape roadmaps for event delivery and privacy infrastructure.
•Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions for systems operating at Spotify scale.
•Manage on-call health and operational excellence/reliability, and actively participate in hiring and onboarding.

Key Requirements

•Experience managing teams of senior/experienced engineers with people leadership as a primary craft.
•Track record of investing in engineers’ careers through meaningful development conversations and clear progression expectations.
•Comfort working with distributed data systems, event-driven architectures, or large-scale data infrastructure and engaging credibly in technical discussions to unblock teams.
•Accountability for outcomes (not just activity) and communicating clearly across functions and time zones.
•Experience working with distributed teams, creating cohesion and inclusion when people aren’t in the same room.
