Job Summary

Lead large, complex US Federal proposals from pre-RFP positioning through interviews, partnering with regional and business line teams on priority pursuits (RFQs/RFPs) including Go/No-Go and greenlight analyses. Provide guidance and leadership to proposal staff, develop win strategies, and ensure compliance and quality across deliverables. Create annotated outlines, first-draft content, compliance lists, schedules, and write key sections such as executive summaries and past performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead key proposals and presentations from pre-RFP positioning through interview stage as required.
•Collaborate with regional and business line teams on priority pursuits, including RFQs/RFPs and shortlist interviews.
•Lead large, complex must-win pursuits from capture through interview stage, including multiple disciplines/geographies.
•Create detailed annotated outlines and first-draft content, compliance lists, and capture/proposal schedules; pivot when requirements change.
•Ensure quality and compliance of deliverables, facilitate color reviews, support debriefs, and manage proposal/project filing on secure systems/CRM.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 85,000 - 110,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (preferably Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or related) and 6+ years of proposal experience, ideally in US Federal Civilian and/or DoD.
•Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry, including AECOM’s Federal clients, projects, people, credentials, and competitors.
•Evidence of successful leadership of multi-disciplinary or multi-geography proposals valued over $20 million.
•Thorough understanding of effective proposal and presentation best practices and tools for addressing evaluation criteria.
•Strong proposal writing and editing skills, including grammar and style, using desktop publishing and presentation tools.
