Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate as a systems level engineer to collect production requirements then plan and execute the build, integration, and validation of flight hardware to those requirements
  • •Design and implement tooling solutions to eliminate assembly error, improve quality, and accelerate build
  • •Automate novel processes to ensure repeatability on a large scale production line
  • •Prove that a subsystem work center meets cycle time requirements, or own the design change required to meet target cycle time
  • •Become a subject matter expert for the build of a vehicle level system like aero control surfaces, propellant feed systems, actuation systems, thermal protection systems, secondary structures, avionics, primary structure, etc.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • •1+ years of hands-on engineering experience (design teams and previous internships qualify)
  • •1+ year of system level acceptance test exposure
  • •2+ years of professional experience in the field of aerospace/mechanical engineering
  • •2+ years of experience with GD&T concepts
