Job Summary

Elicit and document stakeholder requirements to define desired business process impact and ensure technology applications meet needs. Evaluate information from multiple sources, identify constraints, and prioritize user requests. Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and managers to set a technical vision; facilitate meetings and tradeoff discussions. Prepare business and functional requirement documents, support use cases and test scripts, and develop project plans using standard change-control techniques.

Key Responsibilities

•Elicit requirements from stakeholders using interviews, data collection, questionnaires, and project management tools to ensure a technology application is the right solution.
•Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, identify system constraints/issues, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs.
•Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and managers to establish the technical vision and facilitate evaluations and brainstorming sessions.
•Prepare and deliver business requirements and functional requirement documents for stakeholder approval; may document use cases and test scripts.
•Develop project plans using standard/best-in-class project management techniques (e.g., change control) and schedule/participate in stakeholder decision meetings to determine project approval.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, systems design, or a related IT field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Minimum of one year of professional experience defining business requirements for media applications and/or one year of web design or development experience.
•Ability to listen and document client requirements and ask clarifying questions to demonstrate understanding.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, OneNote, Outlook) and able to document requirements with flow charts or graphic models.
•Solid planning and organization skills, with the ability to work on simultaneous projects and manage timelines.
