Job Summary

Join the EOS Chief Engineering Department to develop next-generation Earth Observation satellite systems for institutional and defence markets. Lead Verification & Validation (V&V) in line with ECSS standards, define verification strategies from mission analysis and CONOPS, and oversee VCD creation and complex system-level tests. Manage satellite interfaces through ICDs, resolve cross-subsystem impacts, and serve as Deputy to the Chief Engineer with technical oversight and reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development and execution of the Verification & Validation (V&V) Plan in accordance with ECSS standards.
•Execute mission analysis, create CONOPS, and derive V&V strategies and verification methods across the mission lifecycle.
•Oversee creation and management of the Verification Control Document (VCD) and coordinate complex system-level tests, including environmental and end-to-end functional tests.
•Manage satellite interfaces across the product development lifecycle, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), integration, cross-subsystem conflict resolution, and interface impact analysis.
•Act as Deputy to the Chief Engineer by supporting technical oversight, managing technical risks, participating in technical reviews, and contributing to project technical management (resources, cost, schedule, progress).

Key Requirements

•Master’s Degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
•5+ years of systems engineering experience in the Space industry on satellite platforms or high-complexity space missions.
•Strong background in Earth Observation or Science mission architectures.
•Deep understanding of the Space Mission Lifecycle and ECSS standards.
•Expertise in requirements engineering (e.g., using DOORS or similar tools) and proficiency in interface management and system modeling.
