Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead maintenance teams of mechanics and electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance, and oversee machine repairs.
  • •Train employees on work methods and safety procedures; supervise and support maintenance systems, processes, and documentation.
  • •Schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production; develop maintenance systems (preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, SOPs, safety) and support troubleshooting and equipment failures.
  • •Develop and maintain maintenance KPIs (e.g., supplier/contractor performance, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness) and provide regular status reports.
  • •Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations; maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory, and assume continuity responsibilities when key personnel are absent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Experience acting as a lead through training, coaching, mentoring less experienced staff, or managing a process/project.
  • •Ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office; may be required to work long hours and weekends.
