Key Responsibilities

  • •Track operating costs and spending on long-term assets against approved budgets and help budget owners address variances.
  • •Support monthly and quarterly financial reviews by processing purchase requests and invoices and recording costs incurred but not yet billed.
  • •Maintain employee count, spending, and forecast data in Hyperion and explain differences between planned and actual results.
  • •Prepare reports for Finance and Marketing partners, translating spending trends into forecast updates and action decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or coursework in finance, accounting, or statistics.
  • •3+ years of experience in business operations, financial analysis, or a role involving budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • •Experience using Microsoft Excel for pivot tables, lookup/conditional formulas, and building spreadsheets for spending totals and forecasts.
  • •Experience completing monthly or quarterly financial reporting, including comparing actual spending to budgets and updating forecasts.
  • •Ability to prepare financial reports identifying planned vs. actual differences, explain causes, and recommend corrective actions.
