Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, troubleshoot, and de‑install network equipment and patch cables between network devices and the customer’s network.
  • •Install power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet and complete MAC requests within service levels.
  • •Provide infrastructure cabling break‑fix services and perform layer 1 troubleshooting.
  • •Support facilities efforts, UPS restoral, and emergency cooling/restoration activities.
  • •Coordinate interfacing between site personnel and centralized project/operations/MAC management.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified in installing, testing and certifying structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment.
  • •Experience with high‑speed fiber optic transport and cleaning optical connections.
  • •Proficient with Fluke Versiv Mainframe and testing optical cabling.
  • •Familiarity with IEEE and BICSI cabling standards.
  • •Ability to lift heavy objects and work shifts including nights and weekends.
