Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyse local business Product Configuration processes and tailor functional-driven guidance, information management technology solutions, and training to maintain product information configuration.
  • •Implement configuration management plans and policies effectively, including development of appropriate tools, processes, and practices for the RCD Product Configuration Management Plan.
  • •Develop and maintain configuration baselines aligned with the design review strategy and share these baselines with the wider RCD project.
  • •Lead the configuration team through business change, acting as a change agent and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • •Oversee planning and management activities including Identification & Breakdown, Change Control, Status Accounting, Verification & Audit, and preparation of Engineering Baselines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 71,000

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified and a member of an appropriate professional institution.
  • •Proven experience in configuration management (CM) toolsets and CM practice.
  • •Experience leading or coaching a team, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels.
  • •Develop and implement tools, processes, and practices aligned to the River Class Destroyer Programme (RCD) Product Configuration Management Plan.
  • •Ability to lead configuration activities that maintain overall configuration of product information, including baselines and audit readiness.
