Job Summary

Work on bring-up, integration, validation, and troubleshooting for GPU rack compute tray server platforms. Partner with architects and hardware teams on AI server system designs, using simulation/emulation to validate early concepts. Perform hands-on debugging in datacenter system labs, support factory and manufacturing flows (firmware, diagnostics), and lead root-cause analysis to resolve bring-up failures. Develop diagnostic tools and automation for the system software and firmware stack.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with a global team to work on NVIDIA AI server system design across CPU, GPU, memory, NIC, PCIe, NVMe SSD, and cooling.
•Partner with hardware teams to influence system design by reviewing schematics and board design.
•Use simulation and emulation to validate early designs and enable new concepts.
•Perform hands-on debug and support for early server prototypes bring-up and power-on testing in datacenter system labs.
•Support manufacturing flows (firmware updates and diagnostics), drive root-cause analysis for bring-up failures, and collaborate with partners/ODMs/customers for technical support.

Key Requirements

•Strong experience in computer system and firmware architecture/design for server products, including CPLD or FPGA design and RTL.
•End-to-end delivery experience for high-end enterprise server products from definition through customer deployment.
•Strong understanding of low-level interfaces between SBIOS, BMC, and OS (I2C/SPI/PCIe/JTAG), including system boot/initialization and PCIe enumeration.
•Experience working with hardware teams, ODMs, and vendors to introduce and support server platforms; C/C++ development and bash/Python scripting plus debugging skills in embedded Linux environments.
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of experience as an individual contributor.
