Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a subject matter expert and consultant to conceptualise analytical solutions and translate business questions into KPIs and insights with domain knowledge.
  • •Own end-to-end analytics delivery on Google Cloud Platform, including data profiling, complex joins, optimisation, and governed sourcing and transformation.
  • •Use Python (including pandas and numpy) for analytics, automation, reproducible notebooks, and basic modelling to accelerate insight generation.
  • •Build BI dashboards and insight narratives using Looker and Qlik Sense, defining metrics and communicating findings through clear storytelling and visual design for senior audiences.
  • •Partner with product and business stakeholders to shape requirements and expectations, drive data-driven decisions, lead and mentor team members, and embed data quality checks, governance, and controlled generative AI in workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 to 12 years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a numerical discipline with concentration in computer science, information systems, or engineering.
  • •Experience framing complex business problems into feasible solution approaches, including exposure to unsecured lending in roles such as product management, finance, analytics, or credit risk.
  • •Strong programming and analytical tooling capability, including proficiency in one or more of SAS, SQL, VBA, Unix, Qlik, Tableau, R, Python, and other BI/data tools across Unix, mainframe, or Windows.
  • •Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, data modelling, and data quality assessment/control, including delivery on data and information management projects of varying complexity.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly develop and communicate complex concepts to teams and stakeholders.
