Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of multiple field crews.
  • •Ensure field teams follow AECOM safety and quality guidelines.
  • •Create and maintain field crew schedules across numerous projects and ensure adherence to schedule/budget.
  • •Interpret utility drawings, as-builts, GIS files, and other utility records data; process and document utility records requests with call centers and utility owners/operators.
  • •Locate and designate utilities using geophysical equipment (including GPR), GPS, and Total Station; perform field audits and QA/QC on SUE field data; troubleshoot field technical issues and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree plus 4 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •SUE and/or private utility locating experience with a demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • •Experience and understanding of SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles (and pass a Motor Vehicle Records review).
  • •Frequent travel to field locations (including overnight travel) and ability to perform frequent outdoor work and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
