Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead projects for the electrical discipline and contribute to winning or successfully delivering commissions.
  • •Provide design and technical advice within a multidisciplinary MEP team using a joint leadership approach.
  • •Supervise completion of detailed designs and supervise the work of others in the discipline function.
  • •Lead feasibility studies for electrical discipline requirements and ensure project execution meets delivery needs.
  • •Review design programmes to ensure sufficient resource is available to complete the works, and direct production of detailed and performance specifications subject to colleague review.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng/BSc/MEng in an applicable engineering discipline, with CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council accredited honours degree or equivalent experience leading to Chartership.
  • •Working towards I Eng or C Eng status, with Revit MEP training applied to the discipline.
  • •UK project experience within Building Services MEP and understanding of UK and European regulations relevant to the discipline.
  • •Proven working understanding of latest electrical design software packages to allocate and direct work on projects.
  • •Working knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically and effectively.
