Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee month-end closing and audit processes for legal entities in Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Poland, ensuring reporting deadlines and compliance with internal policies and local tax regulations.
  • •Lead a team of 4–6 accountants and supervise monthly reconciliations for both P&L and balance sheet accounts related to Purchase-to-Pay.
  • •Review and approve PtP-related reconciliations and ensure PtP accounting policies and procedures are adopted in line with prevailing legislation.
  • •Supervise Purchase-to-Pay process during month-end closing for 22 countries across the Glovo Group and support disclosures for accurate statutory financial statements and reports.
  • •Drive PtP process improvements, partner with local accounting teams for harmonization, contribute to ERP implementations, and prepare ad hoc analysis to explain P&L variances vs. the business plan.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields.
  • •8+ years of accounting experience for multinational companies.
  • •Experience in people management positions and leading accounting teams.
  • •Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP/IFRS, and month-end/year-end closing (accruals, provisions, accounts payable, legal contingencies).
  • •Fluent English; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, with SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, and OneStream experience a plus.
