Job Summary

Lead the delivery of sustainable transport and public realm projects end-to-end, from concept and business cases through detailed design and on-site implementation. Manage project programmes, budgets, risks, reporting, and change control while acting as a proactive client point of contact. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to keep scope and delivery aligned, working within WSP’s project management frameworks and APM best practice in London’s Liveable Places team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead delivery of multiple sustainable transport and public realm projects from early concept and business case development through detailed design and on-site implementation.
•Manage project programmes, budgets, risks, reporting, and change control to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
•Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing confident, proactive project leadership.
•Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain alignment across project scope, programme, and delivery requirements.
•Support successful delivery in line with WSP project management frameworks, APM best practice, and relevant health and safety requirements.

Key Requirements

•Strong experience delivering highways, public realm, or transport infrastructure projects from concept through to construction.
•Experience delivering public realm, active travel, or transport schemes in complex urban environments, particularly in London.
•Proven ability to manage project programmes, budgets, cost control, and financial reporting across multiple live projects.
•Experience developing and managing project risk registers, mitigation measures, and delivery governance.
•Good understanding of design development and coordinating multidisciplinary teams through different project stages.
