Key Responsibilities

  • •Configuration of telecom core equipment (STPs, DRAs, HLR/HSS, SMSC, SGSN, GGSN/PGW, SBC, etc.) and managing network equipment
  • •Develop and use dashboards to detect issues and patterns quickly
  • •Follow incident communication procedures internally and with third-party providers
  • •Drive telecom interconnection implementations with providers
  • •Maintenance, troubleshooting, security audits, and emergency response

Key Requirements

  • •At least 10 years of experience in the core network domain with mobile networks
  • •BSc degree in Telecommunication or Computer Science (post-graduate studies are a bonus)
  • •10+ years of experience with SS7, Sigtran, Diameter, Packet Switched (GGSN/PGW, GTP, GRX, IPX, etc.)
  • •Circuit-switched communications protocols such as SS7 (SCCP, TCAP, MAP, CAMEL), SCTP (SIGTRAN), Diameter and voice/messaging flow design
  • •Voice SIP/RTP, ISUP and voice convergence technologies including IMS (VoLTE/VoWiFi); knowledge of Voice Mail, IVR, PBX systems
