Key Responsibilities

•Configuration of telecom core equipment (STPs, DRAs, HLR/HSS, SMSC, SGSN, GGSN/PGW, SBC, etc.) and managing network equipment
•Develop and use dashboards to detect issues and patterns quickly
•Follow incident communication procedures internally and with third-party providers
•Drive telecom interconnection implementations with providers
•Maintenance, troubleshooting, security audits, and emergency response

Key Requirements

•At least 10 years of experience in the core network domain with mobile networks
•BSc degree in Telecommunication or Computer Science (post-graduate studies are a bonus)
•10+ years of experience with SS7, Sigtran, Diameter, Packet Switched (GGSN/PGW, GTP, GRX, IPX, etc.)
•Circuit-switched communications protocols such as SS7 (SCCP, TCAP, MAP, CAMEL), SCTP (SIGTRAN), Diameter and voice/messaging flow design
•Voice SIP/RTP, ISUP and voice convergence technologies including IMS (VoLTE/VoWiFi); knowledge of Voice Mail, IVR, PBX systems
