Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide engineering support for sales teams through central plant design and optimization projects across Public, Federal, and Commercial & Industrial markets.
  • •Perform conceptual and detailed analyses, including life cycle cost modeling and annual energy consumption calculations for central heating/cooling and CHP plants.
  • •Develop scope of work documents and saving calculations, and perform root cause analysis with solutions for performance issues in central plant systems.
  • •Engage in customer-facing activities such as technical briefings, proposal activity review, and participation in pursuit strategy planning and customer negotiations.
  • •Engage in environmental permitting and regulatory requirements and develop sales training, mentorship, and coaching for other engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • •10+ years of experience with central heating/cooling plants and CHP systems.
  • •Hands-on experience with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, hydronic/steam systems, etc.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • •Knowledgeable of ASME, NFPA, UFC, and international mechanical codes.
