Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot network equipment, replace defective components, and isolate/restore network service.
  • •Assist with installation, change, decommissioning, and testing of next-generation technologies (edge compute, wavelength, fiber optic transport, Ethernet, SONET, and IP network layers).
  • •Install, activate, test, and maintain network services and telecommunications equipment, including customer premise equipment (CPE).
  • •Perform basic troubleshooting and repair for customer and network service issues, including fiber testing, Ethernet testing, and circuit validation.
  • •Travel to customer and network locations, support outage response/service restoration, and participate in an on-call rotation while following safety procedures.
