Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and supervise operations staff and plant operating activities, including planned shutdowns and start-ups, ensuring safety and environmental protection.
  • •Prepare the plant operating budget and maintain cost-control measures while ensuring activities meet production schedules and standards.
  • •Drive IMS implementation: define IMS objectives/targets/programs, provide resources, monitor performance, and ensure contractor/subcontractor activities meet IMS requirements.
  • •Ensure HSE processes are executed, including Environmental Aspect-Impact Assessments, Hazard Risk Assessments, Permit to Work (PTW), and emergency mock drills.
  • •Investigate non-conformances/deviations with root-cause analysis, implement corrective/preventive actions, conduct performance evaluations, and deliver on-the-job training requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
  • •13–16 years of experience in Power, Desalination, and/or RO Plants.
  • •Knowledge of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Management System principles.
  • •Strong capability in hazard risk assessment, aspect impact assessment, and root-cause analysis with corrective/preventive actions.
  • •Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and analytical skills for leading operations staff and managing HSE emergencies.
