Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for the development, implementation, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems and infrastructure, including radio, satellite, and 5G/6G technologies.
  • •Originate and carry out engineering studies to solve complex technical problems, improve process safety, and enable cost and revenue outcomes.
  • •Work with and/or lead task teams to investigate incidents and resolve technical problems, including special assignments involving outside organizations.
  • •Develop and maintain company standards, specifications, procedures, and best practices using relevant telecommunications industry codes and standards.
  • •Evaluate vendors and contractors, introduce best practices and new technologies, and conduct technical seminars, exchange meetings, and publish/present technical work.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecommunications, or Electronics and Communication) or a related field from an accredited university.
  • •20 years of progressive telecommunications experience, including at least 5 years focused on radio communications, satellite communications, and 5G technologies.
  • •Knowledge of telecommunications systems including network architecture, protocol, infrastructure design, and performance optimization.
  • •Experience with IoT/IIoT in telecommunications and industrial wireless protocols (ISA100 and WirelessHART).
  • •Strong understanding of telecommunications standards and regulations related to 5G, 6G, satellite, and radio communications.
