Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reliability technicians and specialists performing root cause analysis on electrical systems and PCBAs.
  • •Drive root cause findings into actionable improvements with manufacturing and design teams to reduce failure rates and improve yield.
  • •Own day-to-day operations of the production root cause lab, including technician scheduling, equipment maintenance, lab organization (5S), and resource planning.
  • •Develop and implement new processes and tools to improve the team’s ability to efficiently and accurately root cause electrical failures.
  • •Define and track team performance metrics across multiple shifts, ensuring timely communication of findings and recommendations to production stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years of quality or reliability experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience performing root cause analysis on electrical systems and PCBAs, including diagnosing solder joint quality and component/manufacturing defects.
  • •Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, and developing technicians or junior engineers.
  • •Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
