Engineer responsible for wind resource assessments, site selection, and technical/financial support for wind and solar projects in Madrid, collaborating with Investment and Technical teams to evaluate opportunities, perform due diligence, and prepare tender documents.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct wind resource assessments and energy yield calculations using industry-standard software to optimize wind farm layouts.
•Support site selection and feasibility studies through wind measurements, GIS analysis, and data validation.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide technical insights on wind resource potential and energy production estimates for project development, financing, and operations.
•Provide technical and commercial analysis for the Investment Team on renewable energy technologies (onshore wind, solar PV, battery storage).
•Assist in preparing reports/presentations for the Investment Team and Investment Committee summarizing analysis and feasibility.

Key Requirements

•BSc in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
•Post Graduate degree in Renewable Energy is desirable.
•Min. 5 years project engineering experience in Wind/Solar projects.
•Energy Yield Assessments experience.
•Fluency in English (business level) and proficiency with industry software (e.g., MS Project, PVSyst, WindPRO, OpenWind, CFD).
