Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build pipelines and services to process DER telemetry, meter data, and network data reliably at volume.
  • •Build integrations connecting Flex with utility operational systems (data in from sources and orchestration outcomes back out).
  • •Implement observability for pipelines/feeds, including data quality checks, metrics, logging, and alerting.
  • •Build and maintain data models powering dynamic operating envelopes, backstop events, flexible exports, and battery orchestration.
  • •Partner with the grid modeling team and mature onboarding so new customers follow a repeatable ingestion and implementation process.

Key Requirements

  • •3-6+ years of engineering experience shipping and running production systems.
  • •Experience building cloud-native systems (AWS; GCP/Azure experience transfers).
  • •Strong Python and SQL fundamentals to build services and integrations.
  • •Experience with data-intensive software: ingestion, transformation, orchestration and tooling (dbt, Airflow, Dagster, or similar).
  • •Experience making messy, high-volume external data trustworthy and reliable in production.
