Job Summary

Support Trane Supply’s sales and customer service by developing accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for light commercial (LCU) and residential (R) HVAC equipment. You’ll review RFQs and customer requirements to select products and pricing, validate quoted details (configurations, availability, freight, lead times, warranties), and ensure quotes follow policy and quoting standards. Collaborate with branches and internal partners, interpret HVAC specifications and drawings, and contribute to quoting process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, prepare, and deliver detailed and accurate quotes for LCU/R HVAC equipment based on customer requests and specifications.
•Review RFQs, equipment replacements, and customer requirements to determine product selection and pricing.
•Utilize Trane Supply systems and tools, including product selection resources and Salesforce/CRM.
•Validate quoted information such as pricing, configurations, availability, freight, lead times, and applicable warranties.
•Ensure quotes follow Trane Supply policies, pricing authority guidelines, and established quoting standards; partner internally to resolve technical inquiries and improve the quoting experience.

Salary: USD 47,600 - 96,039.99 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
•Prior experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, technical quoting, or sales support strongly preferred.
•Experience with commercial HVAC products, especially light commercial and replacement equipment.
•Ability to interpret equipment specifications, mechanical drawings, and application requirements.
•Proficiency with business systems including Salesforce, CRM, and equipment selection tools; Microsoft Office proficiency required.
