Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect refinished body panels for proper color match and acceptable finish texture, escalating quality issues immediately.
  • •Prepare surfaces for buffing using the correct sanding products and technique per SOP.
  • •Restore refinish panel(s) to OEM quality using rotary buffer, correct buffing technique, compounds, and polishes.
  • •Inspect remaining (not repaired/refinished) vehicle surfaces for overspray and remove as needed.
  • •Remove and fully clean compound/polish residue from buffed panels and verify acceptable finish quality, while following safety procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •2–5 years of buffing experience or experience working in a body shop/repair (preferred).

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
