Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate shipping trucks safely and efficiently to transport trailers as directed.
  • •Conduct equipment inspections and report issues to the Supervisor.
  • •Maintain trailer temperatures while trailers are on the storage lot.
  • •Communicate effectively with associates, maintenance staff, and supervisors regarding trailer and storage lot conditions.
  • •Maintain equipment and keep trucks and work areas clean and orderly; follow housekeeping schedule and PPE; perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.
  • •Must be able to operate manual CMV (commercial motor vehicle).
  • •Ability to follow written and verbal directions and drive safely while following driving/traffic rules.
  • •Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • •No positive drug or alcohol test in the previous 5 years to be eligible.
