Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for trauma and emergency surgical patients, covering pre-op preparation through post-operative recovery.
  • •Assist surgeons and the multidisciplinary team during trauma/emergency procedures while ensuring aseptic and infection control standards.
  • •Prepare, check, and manage surgical instruments, equipment, implants, and consumables to maintain theatre readiness.
  • •Monitor and document patients’ clinical status and vital signs throughout the perioperative journey, escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • •Maintain accurate clinical documentation, support quality improvement/infection prevention initiatives, and provide patient/family education.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • •Valid DOH, DHA, or MOH license, or DOH Eligibility.
  • •Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Theatre experience, preferably supporting trauma, emergency, or acute surgical procedures.
  • •Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • •Experience in managing trauma cases, emergency surgeries, and multidisciplinary surgical teams is an advantage.
