Job Summary

Lead MEP project teams and drive healthcare-sector growth by developing new clients and projects. Balance business development with delivery over time (initially even, evolving to ~25% business development and ~75% project work). Represent WSP in the healthcare market through events and partnerships, oversee project performance and KPIs, and support people development through mentorship, training, and safety-focused execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop new clients and projects in the healthcare sector and lead project teams to deliver work and grow client relationships.
•Drive facility-based business performance and strategically grow market share to become clients’ preferred trusted advisor.
•Manage local client coordination and cross-selling in partnership with regional, district, national business lines, and pursuit management.
•Oversee project performance and business outcomes, including overhead expenditures and KPIs (e.g., sales, funding, EBITDA, utilization, backlog).
•Support people development through mentorship and collaboration while promoting safety, sustainability, and ethics/compliance programs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
•12+ years of healthcare industry experience combining engineering management, business development, and business/operations management.
•Professional Engineering license or Architectural license required.
•Extensive knowledge of mechanical or electrical design, especially for healthcare projects.
•Experience with engineering planning, design, and construction management across renovation, new design, and construction projects.
