Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or support environmental planning and compliance for energy infrastructure projects, including coordination and filings with state utility regulatory agencies and public service commissions for transmission siting, routing, permitting, and certificate approval processes.
  • •Prepare technical studies and NEPA documentation for transmission and renewable energy projects.
  • •Manage early-stage due diligence for siting energy projects and related infrastructure.
  • •Provide project management on small to mid-sized projects and support large projects, including developing and tracking schedules, budgets, invoicing, and coordination with clients, technical staff, and subconsultants.
  • •Contribute to marketing and business development by supporting pursuits and proposals, expanding the energy permitting and environmental planning portfolio, and mentoring junior and mid-level staff through review and technical guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, environmental science, geography, natural resources, engineering, or related field.
  • •4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent) supporting electric transmission and renewable energy permitting, routing/siting analysis, land use entitlement, and/or multi-disciplinary technical studies.
  • •Ability to travel for agency/client meetings as needed.
  • •A valid U.S. Driver's license is required for this role.
