Job Summary

Drive sales performance for Diageo Beer and Pre-Mix brands in the Washington DC market by leading planning, training, and execution with retailers, on- and off-premise accounts, and distributor partners. Build relationships with top chain, independent, and on-premise accounts, manage tactical budgets and P&L, analyze channel performance to plan promotions, and support distributor meetings and in-field teams to deliver sustainable share growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Create and build relationships with top chain, independent, and on-premise accounts to deliver Diageo Beer Company business objectives.
•Communicate the monthly program calendar and drive distributor sales team execution for on- and off-premise programming.
•Analyze on- and off-premise channels to plan and execute promotional activities and identify local growth opportunities tied to monthly IBOs.
•Assist the Distributor Manager with distributor general sales meetings and weekly team meetings, including kick-off meetings for innovation and programming initiatives.
•Manage tactical budgets by working collaboratively with the Distributor Manager 60 days in advance to agree on targets and objectives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required.
•Self-starter with a proven track record in influencing others using fact-based selling.
•Well organized with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and generate ideas to develop the market.
•Ability to engage, influence, and coordinate retailers and wholesalers with different strategic initiatives.
•Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, VIP & Nielsen (field sales experience preferred).
