Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical execution from initial design through fabrication, test, and production.
  • •Develop systems supporting expeditionary operation, intuitive setup/use, and modular expansion of sensors.
  • •Craft system-level architecture operating at the intersection of software and hardware.
  • •Define product milestones and lead technical design reviews while managing engineering risk.
  • •Coordinate prototype/low-rate production fabrication and subsystem/system-level test efforts, including hands-on in-field testing and end-to-end verification and validation.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a senior role leading system design and development from initial concept through test and delivery to customers.
  • •Basic understanding of aerodynamics, inertial measurement units (IMUs), and control actuation servos and how they affect overall system performance.
  • •A technical bachelor’s degree in robotics, physics, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •Hands-on build and prototyping experience with complex robotic systems, plus familiarity with mechatronic design and firmware/software system design.
  • •Ability to lead cross-functional teams through design trades while meeting program deadlines.
