Job Summary

Lead and grow a team of engineers building AI infrastructure for Adobe Express, owning end-to-end delivery of AI infrastructure workstreams (LLM orchestration, inference services, data pipelines, evaluation frameworks). Balance technical depth with people leadership, partner with product, research, and cross-functional teams to shape a scalable AI platform and ensure high-quality, responsible AI practices across design, imaging, motion, and personalization AI.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end delivery of AI infrastructure workstreams from planning through production (LLM orchestration, inference services, data pipelines, evaluation frameworks).
•Participate in system design reviews, challenge architectural decisions, and unblock the team on complex problems.
•Set and meet engineering quality standards including observability, fault tolerance, latency, security, and responsible AI practices.
•Make explicit calls on technical debt versus feature velocity and communicate trade-offs.
•Develop and communicate a coherent technical roadmap balancing immediate delivery with long-term architecture.
•Partner with product management and engineering leadership to decompose requirements into technical workstreams with clear dependencies and sequencing.
•Collaborate with AI research, data science, and platform teams to integrate models and APIs into production-serving systems.
•Represent the team’s direction to senior stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of engineering management experience with a track record delivering complex infrastructure or platform projects through a team.
•Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, AI/ML infrastructure, or large-scale service development.
•Experience owning team execution end-to-end—prioritization across workstreams, dependency management, and shipping reliably in an agile environment.
•Clear, structured communication skills—able to translate technical trade-offs for PMs and non-technical stakeholders and influence direction across teams.
•Experience growing engineers through coaching, career development support, and building inclusive, high-performing cultures.
