Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop scalable telematics backend systems that process high-volume, real-time telemetry data streams from millions of connected devices using modern microservices architecture
•Architect and implement robust data processing pipelines using Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and stream processing frameworks for ingestion, transformation, and analytics
•Develop cloud-based data storage and analytics solutions leveraging distributed databases, data warehouses, and time-series databases for real-time monitoring and historical analysis
•Implement device-to-device (D2D) communication to enable direct data exchange and reduce latency through peer-to-peer connectivity
•Collaborate with data scientists, DevOps engineers, product managers, and frontend developers to deliver comprehensive telematics solutions and integrate advanced analytics and ML for predictive maintenance and risk assessment

Salary: USD 183,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of backend software development with proficiency in Go, C++, Python
•Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) including Docker and Kubernetes
•Knowledge of data processing/streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark, MQTT, NATS, WebRTC, gRPC) and high-throughput data pipelines
•Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and time-series databases
•API design in RESTful services, microservices architecture, API security, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC, monitoring)
