Responsible for reconciliations, quarterly/annual reporting, journal entries, and disclosures; liaises with front office and operations to resolve data issues; supports SEC reporting, internal/external audits, and process improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Support investment accounting and reporting on a US GAAP, US Statutory and Bermuda Statutory basis for Athene USA
•Prepare quarterly and annual reporting for consolidated US GAAP and unconsolidated US Statutory filings including footnote disclosures and investment schedules
•Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of investment data to GL for applicable bases of accounting
•Review investment portfolio activity in the ePAM accounting system using ARCHIE data warehouse/reporter
•Prepare and post journal entries as needed within close and reconciliation process

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•4-7 years of accounting or analysis experience required
•Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required
•Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory financial accounting regulations preferred
•PAM for Investments (PFI), Blackline or other investment accounting systems strongly desired
