Key Responsibilities

  • •Support implementation and enforcement of information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • •Maintain operational security posture and perform day-to-day security operations for an information system or program.
  • •Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information and perform vulnerability/risk assessment for certification and accreditation.
  • •Prepare and review IA documentation including System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs in compliance with NIST RMF/ODNI/DoD policies.
  • •Provide configuration management for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware; manage system changes and assess security impact.

Key Requirements

  • •Must currently possess Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance (and be able to obtain/maintain it).
  • •10+ years of related experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • •Experience in at least two areas: current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or 4 additional years of ISSO experience can substitute).
  • •DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
