Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and administer an existing book of trust accounts in compliance with bank policies, state laws, account documents, and applicable regulations.
  • •Administer personal trust accounts by reviewing and interpreting trust agreements and related documents.
  • •Assist with estate administration, including marshalling/distributing assets and resolving claims against the estate.
  • •Oversee onboarding and termination of accounts and administer unique assets through valuations, inspections, and due diligence.
  • •Coordinate with Wealth Advisors and legal/tax professionals to ensure accurate, timely, compliant trust documentation and tax filings; provide client service and account status updates.

Key Requirements

  • •1-3 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or a related field, managing a book of trust/agency/IRA accounts (about 150-225) or equivalent education/experience.
  • •High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field is preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and trust and estate planning.
  • •Familiarity with trust and estate laws, tax regulations, and legal documentation, with the ability to interpret policy and procedure manuals.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
