Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct risk reviews across the policy lifecycle using Kin’s underwriting rulesets within delegated authority.
  • •Review and adjudicate inspection findings, including higher-valuation coverage A items and escalated inspection cases.
  • •Own the risk file end to end at pre-bind, active service, and renewal by gathering documentation and resolving open items.
  • •Field transferred calls and live inquiries related to underwriting inspection results, requirements, and coverage conditions, resolving directly with customers.
  • •Process premium-bearing policy actions accurately and communicate underwriting outcomes, including declines and additional-requirement conversations.

Key Requirements

  • •Active Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines license (required).
  • •Direct underwriting, underwriting-support, or advanced policy-servicing experience in home insurance.

  • •Sound judgment applying underwriting rulesets within delegated authority, including knowing when to escalate.
