Job Summary

Senior Cloud Engineer focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing Cisco’s cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure with emphasis on network engineering, data centre operations, and security compliance. Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and implement cloud-based and data centre network solutions.
•Design, configure, and maintain data centre network architectures, including switching, routing, and network segmentation across on-premises and hybrid environments.
•Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and security teams to develop detailed specifications for new cloud-based products, services, and applications, focusing on network security optimization, scalability, and performance.
•Plan and execute compute and storage migration activities for data center relocation or consolidation projects, including assessing environments, creating migration strategies, and mitigating risks.
•Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, OpenStack), performing both live and cold VM migrations and decommissioning with minimal service disruption.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of relevant experience in network engineering or data centre operations, OR Master’s degree in a related field plus 1 year of relevant experience.
•Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions and network infrastructure.
•Working knowledge of data centre networking concepts, switching, and routing protocols.
•Working knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, OpenStack) and migration activities.
•Familiarity with enterprise storage systems (NAS/SAN).
