Key Responsibilities

•Develop, program, and execute inspection routines for CMMs, portable arms, and laser trackers using software like PC-DMIS, Polyworks, and Spatial Analyzer.
•Analyze inspection data to perform root cause analysis, support SPC initiatives, and conduct capability studies.
•Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to provide DFM/DFI feedback on new products.
•Interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models to create comprehensive inspection plans that validate GD&T requirements.
•Generate inspection reports and present findings to cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or metrology engineering role.
•Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
•Strong proficiency in interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
•Hands-on experience with at least one major metrology software platform (PC-DMIS, Polyworks, or Spatial Analyzer).
•Experience in a manufacturing environment governed by a formal Quality Management System (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
