Job Summary

Lead software process implementation and governance for a large-scale satellite development program. Incorporate Boeing Enterprise Software Design Practices into engineering artifacts and documentation across the full software development lifecycle, and guide adoption by satellite software teams. Support reviews, audits, metrics planning and collection, and process training to improve compliance and engineering excellence for embedded/real-time flight software, simulation, databases, and DevSecOps environments.

•Incorporate Boeing Enterprise Software Design Practices (DPs) and process assets into engineering artifacts and lifecycle documentation.
•Lead formal development and approval of software process artifacts for use by software teams and delivery to customers.
•Guide adoption of these artifacts and ensure adherence across satellite software teams.
•Support process compliance reviews and audits, product peer reviews, technical designs reviews, gate reviews, and customer reviews.
•Design and implement process/tooling for software metrics generation and lead software process training to educate teams on new processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
•3+ years of experience with systems engineering or software development on space-based or ground-based systems.
•3+ years of experience leading a team either formally or informally, with guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
•3+ years of experience leading projects and/or individuals in software development lifecycle tasks.
•3+ years of experience with modern software development methodologies.
