Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete the machine operator position training program and follow training/manual requirements.
  • •Operate and monitor production equipment and assembling/secondary machinery according to machine (product) standards.
  • •Perform hourly random checks for defects and ensure parts meet customer specifications, placing non-conforming product on hold as needed.
  • •Pack conforming parts into boxes for sealing and shipping, and complete daily reports/logs including produced parts, scrap, downtime, and activity logs.
  • •Adjust process parameters and device/control instruments, start-up molds per setup sheets, and notify supervisors when quality fails or machinery needs repair.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •One-year certificate from a college/technical school, or six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and recognize similarities/differences between words and series of numbers.
  • •Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide), compute rates/ratios/percent, and interpret bar graphs.
  • •Must attend required Safety/OSHA training and adhere to plant safety rules; complete GMP/HACCP/Food Security training.
