Key Responsibilities

  • •Prospect and qualify new construction and conversion deals in California for La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites (and related brands).
  • •Network and attend industry events to develop and manage opportunities.

  • •Manage relationships and maintain forecasting/reporting for development activity.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive sales experience with demonstrated achievement exceeding quotas.
  • •Hotel franchise development experience, including hotel conversion experience.
  • •Aptitude to evaluate pro-forma and feasibility studies for conversion projects.
  • •Ability to build and maintain relationships and deliver excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred and valid driver’s license; required to travel approximately 80% of the time (4 out of 5 days per week).
