Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate assigned unit/plant from the control panel per defined procedures, adjusting operating conditions and product flows.
  • •Take immediate corrective action for abnormalities or malfunctions, conduct initial diagnostics, and coordinate defect rectification.
  • •Maintain continuous radio contact with field operators and ensure operations stay within agreed parameters.
  • •Update control room registers/logs and perform proper shift handover; monitor system abnormalities and normalize equipment per SOPs.
  • •Follow HSE and quality procedures, including coordinating Lock Out & Tag Out for maintenance and providing on-the-job training to junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Technical Diploma in Engineering.
  • •Have 3–5 years of control room operations experience in power or water desalination units.
  • •Demonstrate extensive knowledge of operating systems such as DCS, SCADA, and PLC.
  • •Know relevant plant equipment, processes, and desalination operational activities.
  • •Show awareness of HSE and quality standards with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
