Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport and deliver equipment and materials by driving a tractor trailer combination or truck (26,000+ GVW) to assigned locations while following DOT and company H&S/E standards.
  • •Perform loading and unloading tasks and maneuver vehicles into positions following loading crew signals, then secure materials for transport.
  • •Receive instructions from dispatch and proceed to delivery or receipt locations; obtain receipts or signatures and verify documentation accuracy and completeness.
  • •Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain required logs for working hours and vehicle service/repair status in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • •Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed and carry tools/supplies, report defects/accidents/violations/damages to supervisors.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s license.
  • •Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate and ability to obtain a renewed certificate.
  • •Twenty-four (24) months verifiable Class A driving experience within the last five (5) years.
  • •No more than two (2) moving violations and no more than one (1) preventable accident in the last three (3) years.
  • •Must be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and be able to use or learn automated systems such as electronic logs.
