Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisition, divestiture, and merger opportunities, including DCF, NAV, accretion/dilution, and comparable company/transaction frameworks.
  • •Prepare investment screening materials, pro forma financial analyses, and transaction presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
  • •Support due diligence by synthesizing reserve and engineering inputs, financial data, and counterparty information into investment-ready analysis.
  • •Develop and maintain analytical infrastructure for the Corp Dev team, including standardized model templates, comps libraries, and diligence frameworks.
  • •Monitor E&P market activity and support A&D deal bid packages (bid packages, IOIs, and LOIs) in coordination with land, engineering, and legal counterparts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Business required.
  • •3+ years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development with exposure to E&P M&A or A&D transactions.
  • •Demonstrated financial modeling experience including DCF, NAV, and comparable analysis required.
  • •Familiarity with Enverus, FactSet, or Bloomberg preferred.
  • •Ability to synthesize reserve and engineering inputs, financial data, and counterparty information into investment-ready analysis.
