Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently negotiate and execute high volumes of pre-M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters), liaising directly with counterparties against agreed SLAs.
  • •Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for investment fund and asset manager clients, building trusted advisor relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree and licensed to practice; licensed to practise law in any APAC jurisdictions, the UK, US, or Canada, with 5+ PQE.
  • •Independently negotiated pre-M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters) in a financial services legal environment.
  • •Ability to build lasting relationships with sophisticated investment fund and asset manager clients and communicate legal advice crisply.
  • •Commercial mindset to balance legal risk against business objectives and flag issues early.
  • •Proficiency with AI-backed contract review tools, with willingness to improve them.
