Key Responsibilities

•Server management (software and hardware); storage management (logical and physical); cross platform authentication and access management; data backup and restoration; software and license configuration; and workstation support.
•Working with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements and provide documentation on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
•Act as a senior technical resource for the team by informally directing day-to-day DT activities, resolving complex technical challenges, and mentoring personnel in support of operational excellence.
•Prioritize and assign tickets to lower-level team members, ensuring timely resolution and effective workload distribution.
•Participate in meetings with customers, providing technical guidance and best practice to ensure successful outcomes.
•Develop, document, and enforce system administration processes, standards, and best practices.
•Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
•Provide work effort beyond standard work hours on occasion.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
•An active DoD Secret clearance is required on Day 1 Start.
•Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification within 6 months of start date.
•SME level experience with Active Directory, VMware, NETAPP, networking administration, Windows or Linux administration, backup and recovery enterprise suites.
